Kiran Mohindra holds a degree in Commercial Art from The College of the Arts, New Delhi, as well as courses taken in art craft from the Women`s Polytechnic in New Delhi. Kiran spent some time in the U.K. after graduation and upon her returnshe began her career as owner and teacher of an art center at Safdarjung enclave in 1969. Eventually joined an advertising agency as part of their creative team, handling numerous fashion and consumer product accounts, as well as various fashion shows. Kiran works in mixed medias and most of her work is devoted to the female figure. Her artwork has been featured in magazines like Good Living and Artifacts and she has had many solo exhibitions throughout India.
